Going To St. Louis

It is 6:30a.m. and I am up getting ready to head to St. Louis!!  My principal, a group of teachers, and myself are going to the Professional Learning Community Work Institute. We have really been working hard at getting our PLC's headed in the right direction. I can't wait to come back and share all the information that I learn.

I would love for you to share. How are PLC's going at your school? Anything that works really, really well? 

Beginning Of The Year Math Freebie!!

I know, I know some of you are not even out of school yet, let alone thinking about the beginning of next year! I  have been out for about 3 weeks. I took some time to rest and relax and now it is time for me to start thinking about next year, just call me crazy!!!

Sloppy Blogger and Help Me Giveaway!

The guilt has begun to set in as it should! I have been out of school since May17th and I haven't done a thing! Literally surface cleaning the house is about all that has been accomplished at my house. Now that I am rested I plan on undertaking and completing home and school projects.

This poor blog has been so neglected! So last night I began working on a beginning of the year review pack for my up coming first graders. This is where I need your help! I don't care for the title. I am looking for someone to help me come up with a better name for this unit. What makes it a giveaway? If I pick your title, you will receive the unit for free! So I need all creative minds!! Just comment on the what you think a good title would be and leave me your e-mail address. I will pick the new name on Tuesday evening.
